Julian Martineau

Interim Chef, Dawes House

“I was welcomed with open arms and the amount of positivity and friendships I’ve made has meant a lot. Smithies are very loyal, hardworking, caring, and compassionate, and it makes me take a step back and be thankful that I have such a strong community of people who have my back while I have theirs!”

Martha Potyrala

Administrative Assistant, Dance Department

“I meet and work with creative people, faculty, staff, graduate students and undergrads who really believe that anything is possible. The energy and enthusiasm of the students around learning and growing is definitely contagious. They all follow multiple passions which inspire my own growth.”
