Visitor Parking
Please note: The visitor pass request below does not apply to visits to Smith College for the areas open to the public (Lyman Plant House, Museum of Art, Mendenhall Theatre). Please use our visitor parking spaces around campus and parking garage (use link below will take you to our campus map) or seek City of Northampton parking options. We only give parking passes for business or parents coming to campus.
Visitors who need to park for college business or to visit a student from Monday through Friday (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) must obtain a parking pass from the Campus Safety Parking Office or from the department they are visiting. Visitors may park without a pass in any non-reserved white lined space on campus or in the Parking Garage Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m., and Friday at 5 p.m. to Monday at 7 a.m. Parking is never permitted in the Quadrangle from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. Below is our online form to request a parking pass. Please complete and be sure to include your email for us to email the pass back to you. The parking pass should be displayed where our Campus Safety officers can see it from the front of your vehicle. Find parking on the campus map.
Contractors: Please obtain your parking pass from Campus Safety Parking Office located at 126 West Street, 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Please allow one business day to process your request. Requests will not be processed on weekends, holidays, or when the college is closed.
