Applicants & Prospective Students
This section is for prospective students applying for admission. If you are a current Ada Comstock Scholar, please go to the Student Financial Services website for financial aid deadlines and policies.
When To Apply for Aid
Do not wait until you have been accepted to Smith to apply for aid. If you may need institutional financial assistance during your tenure at Smith, apply for aid by the financial aid deadlines.
Applying for Aid After Deadlines
Ada Comstock Scholars who do not apply for financial aid by the published financial aid deadlines will be required to complete 32 credits at Smith before you are eligible to apply for institutional financial aid. This means that you would be eligible to receive only federal, state, and outside aid; no Smith Grant aid would be available until these credits are completed at Smith.
International Students
International Ada Comstock Scholars who do not apply for aid prior to admission are not eligible to receive institutional aid at any time.
