Data About Smith

Smith is among those in the higher education community that use the Common Data Set (CDS) to compile statistics, which Smith began using in 2004. The CDS provides standard, clear questions and definitions to improve the quality and accuracy of information and to provide consistent, comparable descriptive statistics about colleges and universities. Prior to using the CDS, Smith published Smith College "Facts at Your Fingertips" reports.
