Lara Marcon ’91

President-Elect, AASC, 2024–29

Following a successful Wall Street career, Lara Marcon is now a community volunteer focusing on hunger, literacy, and reproductive freedom. She is a board member of the Metropolitan Opera and a member of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Alumnae Association of Smith College.

Suzanne Kim Doud Galli ’87

Secretary, AASC, 2024–28

Suzanne Kim Doud Galli, MD, Ph.D., FACS is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Washington, D.C. Suzanne currently serves as co-president for the Smith College Class of 1987 and on the Smith College Committee on Regional Participation (CORP).

Amy Nutt ’77

Director, AASC, 2024–28

Amy Ellis Nutt is a journalist, author, and teacher. She received the Pulitzer Prize in feature writing in 2011 and is currently working on her fourth book. Amy was a Smith College Medal recipient in 2014 and has served as a lecturer in journalism at Smith College (most recently in the spring of 2023).

Alejandra “Alej” Ruiz ’17

Director, AASC, 2024–28

Alej Ruiz is a program coordinator at Pima Animal Care Center (PACC), overseeing one of the largest volunteer programs in the animal welfare industry. With nearly 10 years of experience in communications, grant writing, and grassroots advocacy, she aims to promote positive change in her community. Alej currently serves as reunion chair and treasurer for the Smith College Class of 2017.

Gail Campanella ’75

An M.B.A. with a long career in healthcare-related fields, Gail Campanella led the launch of the University of Michigan’s Depression Center and Institute for Healthcare Policy and now is a strategic adviser for multiple similar new University of Michigan initiatives. Gail currently serves on the Board for the Smith College Club of Ann Arbor.

Alta Rodriguez ’90

Alta Rodriguez is senior counsel in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of Equal Employment Opportunity, leading transformational projects and initiatives in support of equity, and accessibility. Alta is a past board member of the Association of Latina Alumnae of Smith (ALAS).

Jacqueline “Jackie” Wong ’91

Jackie Wong is lead product manager in Disney Experiences, Tech & Digital. She has digital oversight for Adventures by Disney, Nat Geo Experiences, and Disney Institute. Jackie has 24 years of experience working for The Walt Disney Company in the tech and digital space. Jackie currently serves as reunion co-chair for the Class of 1991.

Cecilia Robinson Edwards ’88

Cecilia Robinson Edwards is a partner and principal solutionist at Wavestone, a global management consulting firm. She is currently focused on supporting large enterprises to drive impact along their generative AI and sustainability transformation journeys.
