Slate of Nominees for New AASC Leadership Positions

Each year the Nominating Committee of the Alumnae Association of Smith College (AASC) presents a slate of nominees for alum leadership roles related to the work of the AASC. The committee’s goal is to provide the best possible leadership for the AASC. Special attention is given to ensure that these bodies represent the diversity of Smith alums across all measures. The positions are:

Director: Supports the programming work of the AASC leadership in alignment with the Smith Office of Alumnae Relations (OAR). Identifies AASC needs in support of the college and alums. Communicates alum concerns to the OAR. Brings new ideas to the AASC board. Four-year term.

Nominating Committee: Identifies possible AASC directors, possible members of the Nominating Committee and possible trustees nominated by the AASC, in each case who represent a range of class years, geographic areas, skill sets and diversity. Three-year term.

The full roster of current AASC leaders can be viewed here. This year’s slate follows below; the bio of each person can be viewed here. The alum community will be invited to vote on the slate via email on May 15, 2023. The vote will remain open through June 30, 2023.
