Smith College is eager to provide an outstanding education to qualified women from all economic backgrounds, and we meet the full documented need of every admitted student who completes the financial aid application by the published deadlines. We also offer financial advice to help all families manage the cost of college, whether or not they qualify for aid. This partnership between Smith and families has allowed many women to afford an investment in quality private education.

Changes to Tax Return Requirements

Returning students who completed an application for Smith financial aid for the current 2016-17 academic year do not have to submit tax returns (student or parent) as part of the financial aid application for the upcoming 2017-18 year. See Financial Aid for more information.
