Help for Spring 2021 Instructors Using Zoom Recordings in Panopto

Dear Spring 2021 instructors,
We’ve heard from several of you that you need assistance with using your Zoom recordings through Panopto, in keeping with the new approach we announced on February 2 and that went into effect on February 12. Based on the help tickets and feedback we’ve received, we’ve made some changes in hopes this will go better for you. Here’s how you can get help:
- Consult our updated instructions at https://sites.google.com/smith.edu/digital/supported-tools/panopto. These will help those of you who use Moodle as well as those of you who want to share Zoom recordings in other tools like Google.
- Sign up for a workshop on How to Manage Zoom Recordings in Panopto. At this writing, we have space available in workshops on February 17 at 3 p.m., February 19 at 1 p.m., and February 23 at 3 p.m.
- Request assistance by submitting a Request Help ticket on the Digital Support site.
A final note for instructors who use Moodle: please remember to unhide your Moodle course so your students can find it.
