The Sherrerd Center for Teaching and Learning, in partnership with the ITS Learning, Research and Technology team, is facilitating a faculty cohort this fall with 12 participating faculty exploring Scaffolding Deep Learning in the Age of AI. This cohort is an evolution of two past AI faculty cohorts run by ITS and the Sherrerd Center’s past Teaching & Learning Seminar.

To help guide faculty through the evolving AI landscape, ITS is offering AI Tools: Course Policies & Practice, a two-part workshop series blending practical tech literacy with liberal arts values. The series pairs a hands-on lab exploring tools like Google Gemini and data privacy with collaborative discussions on crafting course policies that protect academic integrity, preserve human connection, and align with individual teaching philosophies.
