We offer several tuition financing options, including direct payments, a monthly payment plan and federal student loans. You may also combine these options into a personalized financing solution that works for you.
Be sure to include the student's name and college ID on all forms of payment and correspondence.
Smith College accepts the following forms of direct payment:
Smith accepts electronic checks from a checking or savings account within the United States. Payments may be made anytime on the TouchNet website. Payments made by ACH will show immediately on student accounts.
There is a $20 fee for a returned check due to insufficient funds and a $5 fee for payment reversal if an incorrect account number is provided.
Checks or money orders (including outside scholarships, 529 Plans, and tuition benefit checks) should be made payable to "Smith College" in U.S. dollars, and drawn on a U.S. bank. Print and cut a remittance stub from the TouchNet eBill website and include it with your payment or be sure that the student ID number is clearly written on the check.

Cash payments may only be made at the cashier's window, College Hall, Room 204. The cashier is open Monday through Friday, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Bank wires or wire transfers are accepted from a U.S. bank involve fees that range from $15 to $50 per transfer. Wire transfers from a bank not affiliated with a U.S. bank are subject to a collection fee. The net amount applied to the student's account will be less than the amount of the wire transfer by the amount of any applied fees. Please include the student's full name and college ID number.
All wire transfers are processed through Bank of America. Please log onto TouchNet for wire transfer account information.
