Summer at Smith

Experience a precollege program that offers limitless ways to explore the world. You will join more than 300 other high school students who want to pursue their academic interests in and out of the classroom, strengthen their college applications and meet other motivated and ambitious college-bound young women. Accepting young women who will be entering grades 9, 10, 11, 12 in fall 2020. We are currently planning for in-person and online options for summer 2021. We hope to have more information about what our offerings will look like by early 2021.

Happening Now! Smith Precollege Online

Join us for one of our online programs. Choose from weekend crash courses and nonacademic community workshops. Our online opportunities are for students in grades 9-12, plus any interested current gap year students.


Important COVID-19 Information

Due to COVID-19, the Office of Precollege Programs was closed for the summer beginning on May 30, 2020. To learn more about Smith’s planning, see the “Culture of Care” website. We look forward to connecting with everyone in the fall and remain hopeful that we can begin planning for the summer 2021 Precollege Programs.
