Allergy Shots

Effective May 2018, the Schacht Center for Health and Wellness and Pelham Medical Services no longer offer allergy immunotherapy treatment, including injection or sublingual therapy, commonly referred to as “allergy shots.”

We are committed to providing you with excellent care. Due to the highly specialized nature of allergy therapy and in keeping with best practices for patient safety, we have determined that students requiring allergy therapy are better served by local allergists.

For those students who were receiving allergy care on campus, we are happy to facilitate transfer in care to the allergist or provider of choice. We can assist with referrals, release of records, and serums at any point during this academic year. Our goal is to create a safe and successful transition in this important aspect of healthcare with a minimum of inconvenience.

We understand this may pose some challenges for our students and their families, and we are happy to discuss any concerns which may arise at 413-585-2250 or via email at

We look forward to continuing to serve your health and wellness needs and wish you a happy and healthy year!
