Spring 2021 Central Check-In Update

As noted in President McCartney’s letter of November 23, 2020, the college announced that it will welcome back many of our students to campus for spring 2021. Please see the “Culture of Care” website for further details and answers to frequently asked questions. Note that while the fall semester is ongoing, the spring information is located in its own section. For on-campus students with questions regarding housing, please see the Residence Life website.

Central Check-In (CCI) is your first stop when you arrive on campus for orientation. It is required and you must complete the process before you proceed to your house. More information about spring 2021 CCI will be forthcoming.

Central Check-In for Spring 2021

What You Need To Know

  • The CCI process will include a baseline COVID test and distribution of OneCards and room keys.
  • Masks/approved face coverings will be required by everyone involved for the entire check-in and move-in process. Guests may not participate in the check-in process with their student.
  • In order to limit density, students will move through the CCI process without guests. It will take each student approximately 15-30 minutes to get through the process.
  • Up to two individuals may assist students with move-in to their house. Guests to campus must follow the travel guidelines from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and observe all public health protocols, including wearing a face covering or mask at all times while on campus. Only guests from low-risk states may assist with the residential move-in process. Guests may not enter other campus buildings but are welcome to walk around and be on campus grounds. We ask that you not bring additional guests in an effort to support our public health guidelines and keep our community safe.
