A pediatrician, Pollack specialized in primary care, public health, and injury prevention. She provides child passenger safety education and grant-funded car seats to domestic violence survivors, refugees, immigrants, and foster children in Kentucky cities and rural mountain communities. Her mother and one daughter were also dedicated Smithies.
