Shana Montrose ’06

Shana Montrose ’06 is a strategic consultant, executive coach, and trainer with 20 years of experience helping government agencies and nonprofits strengthen strategy, improve operations, and lead through change. As principal consultant at Confluescent Consulting, she helps leaders bridge the gap between strategy and execution by building practical systems that improve decision-making, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

Shana is an adjunct faculty member in the management department at the University of Colorado Denver Business School. She is an International Coaching Federation credentialed coach and certified Everything DiSC practitioner with Gold-level certification in Lean Management Systems, bringing expertise in team effectiveness, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Shana served as chief administrative officer of Tepeyac Community Health Center, where she led strategy, operations, and organizational growth. Earlier, she was a consultant on Kaiser Permanente’s Strategy Execution Team, leading regional initiatives that improved quality, patient safety, and health care delivery.

Shana holds an M.P.H. from the Harvard School of Public Health, an M.B.A. in health administration from the University of Colorado Denver, and an M.A. in Latin American studies from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service. She enjoys dancing Argentine tango, being outdoors with her family in Colorado, and international travel.
