Biography

Elizabeth Jamieson’s lab examines how various DNA lesions damage DNA. She and her students use differential scanning calorimetry to see how these lesions alter the thermodynamic stability of the DNA helix. They are also interested in investigating the structure and dynamics of some of these lesions using NMR spectroscopy and seeing how lesions affect the structure of nucleosomes.
