Biography
Claudia M. Wilson is an artist, instructor and social worker who lives in Northampton. They have featured at various venues in Ohio and Boston. Claudia’s present work in progress centers embodiment, family, blackness and nature, and WWF wrestlers from the mid ’80s. They studied English and Black literature at The Ohio State University and is a TWH & VONA graduate. Their chapbook GROWN was published through Game Over Books Press and is about Claudia’s time in foster care. They have received two honorable mentions from the Academy of American Poets. They received their master’s in fine arts at UMass Amherst and they live with their cat, Pablo. They’re originally from Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio, and they like to play board games and play Skyrim on the weekends.
