Ayelet Tsabari is an Israeli Canadian author of Yemini descent. Her writing focuses on the experiences of the Jews of Yemen, especially women. She is the author of Songs for the Brokenhearted, winner of a National Jewish Book Award for Fiction. She also wrote a memoir in essays The Art of Leaving and an award-winning short story collection The Best Place on Earth.
