Holley Flagg '62:

Color and light are my passion. They are the driving force in what I create. I am drawn to watercolor, and acrylics used like watercolor, because of their translucency and unpredictability. My process is both intentional and open-ended. I may begin with an idea but my painting often sends me to a different place. A wash of watercolor, a splash of acrylic shifts the direction of the piece. We plan, we guide, but often the best moments arrive by chance. Embrace the unexpected!

Art Exhibition Date: February 2-August 3rd. Alumnae House Gallery hours: Mon.-Fri. 9am-4 pm. Closed weekends & holidays. 

Opening Reception: March 20th 5-7 pm.
