The Smith College Museum of Art presents a screening of films by architect and activist Phyllis Birkby on Friday, June 12, from 4–8 p.m. in Graham Hall. Held during Second Friday, this event showcases Birkby’s documentation of the feminist movement and NYC lesbian culture from the 1970s through the 1990s. Birkby's films document architecture (including her own designs), her personal life in home movies, and travel. The short films are drawn from the Sophia Smith Collection, Smith College Special Collections. Free and open to all.
