Jackson Katz, Ph.D., is an educator, author, and scholar-activist who is internationally renowned for his longstanding leadership in the global movement of men working to promote gender equity and prevent gender-based violence. He co-founded the multiracial, mixed gender MVP program, the first large-scale GBV prevention initiative in college and professional athletics, and the first system-wide program of its kind in the U.S. military. He has published numerous articles and three books, including his latest, Every Man: Why Violence Against Women Is a Men's Issue. His TEDx talk on that topic has been translated into 27 languages and has over 5.7 million views.
