Screening of the "9-11: Reclaiming Ground Zero" documentary and Q&A with Carolyn Lukensmeyer. This film revisits the historic 2002 AmericaSpeaks town hall, where more than 5,000 New Yorkers came together to deliberate the future of Ground Zero. It offers a rare, large-scale case study in participatory democracy, highlighting how structured public input, expert facilitation, deliberation tools, and feedback loops can shape policy decisions during moments of crisis and long term urban planning.
