As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting with deep gratitude on all that we have shared together.

In commemorating Smith College’s 150th anniversary and announcing its new strategic plan, we honored our history and celebrated our profound capacity to imagine—and create—a better world. And now, looking to the new year, my wish for each of you is that it be filled with love, hope, wonder, and promise.

May the spirit of the season inspire us to keep learning, growing, and extending our care and joy to one another and the wider world.
