Office of Alumnae Relations and Development

Milestone Reunion Assistant Director

What brought you to Smith?
I started at Smith in 2014 in the Department of Exercise & Sports Studies (ESS), where I worked closely with graduate students pursuing careers in collegiate coaching. I have an undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition and a background in Sport Performance, so it was a great fit. The role made me realize how much I appreciate working with students and the value of reconnecting alums to the college.

I continue to foster and nurture relationships with Smithies as a member of the Alumnae Relations and Development team, which I joined in 2021.

What do you do here?
I steward the volunteers of the 60th reunion cycle. I partner with class volunteers to increase engagement, build connections with their classmates and align their philanthropic goals with the mission of the college.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?
Lyman Conservatory—its diverse ecosystems are transporting!

How has your background prepared you for your current job at Smith?
I have experience serving on boards and volunteering on capital campaigns and an appreciation for service leadership and mission-driven projects.

When you’re not working or traveling for Smith, what are you most likely to be found doing?
I’m most likely to be in the woods or at a lacrosse field watching my kids play! I am at my best in nature and around my family.

What’s a fun fact about you?
I am a native to the Pioneer Valley and grew up on a dairy farm where my family still farms.

Favorite Smith tradition?
Mountain Day—no question! I love the suspense of not knowing when it will happen and appreciate how the college honors fall, nature and community building.

Which do you prefer: Bulb Show or Mum Show?

What's your favorite dish?
