All visitors to campus must follow Smith College’s COVID-related health and safety policies. Visitors are asked not to come to campus if they are sick or show symptoms. Please consult Smith's COVID-19 Information page for more information.
In-person tours, information sessions, and class visits are available for prospective students and families. Virtual interviews and information sessions are also available. We are not able to accommodate requests for overnight visits at this time.
A personal interview is optional for first-year and transfer students and is required for Ada Comstock Scholars. This one-to-one conversation allows you to tell us about yourself and to ask specific questions about Smith.
We offer virtual interviews for prospective first-year, transfer, and Ada Comstock Scholars. Prospective students will be interviewed by an admission counselor, a student interviewer, or one of our alum admission volunteers. Please consult the registration page for available dates and times.
If you have difficulty finding an interview appointment, please contact the Office of Admission for assistance. Please be sure to mention whether you are a prospective first-year, transfer or Ada Comstock Scholar.
What is it like to be a student at Smith? Why not ask someone who has been there? The Office of Admission coordinates a worldwide network of alum volunteers who are eager to share their experiences and insights about Smith. Request an interview with an Alum Volunteer.
