Biography

In addition to earning her degrees at Columbia and City College of New York, Thalia Pandiri studied at the Free University of Berlin and is a fellow of the American Academy in Rome. She is the current chair of the department.

Her special interests include translation studies and maternal filicide.

Selected Publications

Pandiri has published critical work and translations in the areas of ancient and modern Greek literature, Medieval Latin and modern drama. She is editor-­in-­chief of the literary translation journal METAMORPHOSES.
