Biography
Elizabeth Mikesch is the author of Niceties: Aural Ardor, Pardon Me (Calamari Archive). She wrote a minivan opera for Clarice Lispector and held a residency connected to The Bottom at Mass MoCA in 2017. You can find her work in Unsaid, Bomb, Sleepingfish, Black Warrior Review, Juked and Keith LLC. In 2018 and 2019, she taught Technology and Gender at Smith and in 2021 worked as a Writing Counselor in the Jacobson Center. Currently, at UMass Amherst, she is a member of the 2022–2023 cohort of the Instructional Innovation Fellowship. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work and will serve as an Integrated Behavioral Health Equity Fellow in 2023-2024.
