Making From Home
Making was pioneered by women, people of color, and lower income folks who couldn’t afford not to reuse household waste, innovate, and create when resources were scarce. Some of the most beautiful forms of making can be done with simple household materials. Not only are these materials easily accessible, they are often repurposed waste materials that would otherwise be thrown away. At Design Thinking, we strive to place equal value on making with complex technology and household materials.
