Competition Schedule

The Draper Competition culminates in a celebration of all things entrepreneurial—including the annual Festival of Women Entrepreneurs, an entrepreneurs’ career fair, virtual reality stations, an augmented-reality experience, food trucks and a battle of the bands.

Thursday, April 4

5 p.m. Semi-finalists' Registration
6 p.m. Dinner and networking

Friday, April 5

9:00 a.m. Semi-Finalists' Presentations
Each team has 3 minutes to present to a panel of judges followed by 5 minutes of q&a
(concurrent by track; not open to the public)
1:30 p.m. Mobile Taste of the Valley (wristband required)
4 food trucks begin serving - The Dogfather, Holyoke Hummus, Log Rollin' and Sun Kim Bop
2 p.m. Festival of Women Entrepreneurs
4 p.m. Welcome - President Kathleen McCartney
4:10 p.m. Introdution and Review of Rules - Endi Mato '19
4:15 p.m. Final Pitch Round
Each finalist team has 90 seconds to pitch to a panel of distinguished judges followed by 3.5 minutes of q&a
5:15 p.m. Keynote: Emily Levy, Co-Founder and CEO, Mighty Well and 2016 Draper Competition Winner
5:45 p.m. Break
6:15 p.m. Announcement of 2019 Draper Competition winners
8 p.m. Battle of the Bands (Davis Ballroom; cash bar)
