The Diploma Circle

 

Smith College’s Commencement ceremony will be held in the Quadrangle at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 21. (In case of rain, the event will take place in the Indoor Track and Tennis Facility.) The ceremony will also be live streamed.

Media Credentials for Commencement

News media interested in covering Smith College’s Commencement ceremony must request media credentials from the Smith College News Office by emailing sschmeidel@smith.edu by 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 17.

Seating in the Quad is limited,  and a request for credentials does not guarantee approval.

The News Office will notify media about the status of their request by noon Friday, May 19.

Credentials are to be picked up in person on the day of the event. Logistical details will be forwarded to media covering Commencement by 3 p.m. Friday, May 19.

Commencement Photo, Video and Speech Requests

Media requests for photos, audio, or video of Smith’s Commencement ceremony should be sent to sschmeidel@smith.edu. In keeping with contractual obligations, Smith will provide audio and video excerpts of the Commencement address.
