Student Life Resources
There are many student life resources available at Smith through residence life and student affairs. Here are a few others that are unique to Smith.
The Narratives Project
With faculty and staff collaborators, the Narratives Project generates interactive, face-to-face curricula that motivate students to deepen their knowledge of themselves, explore their passions and personal capacities, and articulate their values and goals. During our cohort experiences, students write, talk and make videos in order to find meaning, reflect on identity, build a sense of belonging and practice leadership.
Jandon Center for Community Engagement
The Center provides opportunities for students and faculty for partnering with their community and in communities around the world and supports courses and projects that provide opportunities for real-life learning and scholarship, while addressing community goals.
Interterm Program
Interterm is the time between the end of winter break and the beginning of spring semester. Special noncredit courses (taught by students, staff or faculty), events and workshops are planned for the second two weeks of interterm.
