What is your area of study?
The post-baccalaureate math program.
What year are you?
Weirdly a freshman to this campus, but a senior credit-wise.
Why did you decide to apply to this Smith program and how did you first hear about it?
It's like an extra senior year. This program gives me a boost in my knowledge. My undergraduate institution was nice, but not very rigorous. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to prep more before graduate school.
What advice do you wish you could give your (slightly) younger self about applying to a graduate program?
Go for it, apply everywhere. A lot of schools will waive the application fee if you ask nicely.
If you were a superhero, what would your power be?
Probably teleportation, it would help me not be late to class. Then I would definitely do the constant teleportation thing and hack it to fly.
What is something unexpected that people don’t know about you?
I collect bobby pins and paperclips (and other small metal things) off the ground. I've got a jar full of them. If you have dropped one, I may have picked it up.
What video game would you become a character in if you could?
"Animal Crossing," cute animal neighbors, please. Pietro for life.
What’s your favorite Netflix guilty pleasure right now?
“The Magicians” on Netflix for the third time.
What do you think has been the most “Smithie” thing you’ve done this fall?
Participated in Mountain Day.
Other questions you'd like to answer?
Favorite song right now: “Dream Catcher” by Pinc Louds or “Kamikaze” by The Royal They.
