If you had to create a synonym for the word “Smithie,” what would it be?
If I had to create a synonym for the word “Smithie” I would choose the word “driven” because each student is motivated to become effective leaders in the community!

What are you most looking forward to about classes at Smith?
I am looking forward to exploring my interests and courses I would never expect to take outside of my intended major! I also can’t wait for the small discussion-based classes so I can express my opinions in a comfortable environment, and connect with other students.

If you could have an animal sidekick, what animal would it be? Why?
I would have a monkey as a sidekick because they are adventurous, energetic and willing to explore new things, just like me! I am willing to go out of my comfort zone, and I am always open to new experiences.

If you could rid the world of one thing, what would it be?
I would rid the world of diseases such as COVID-19 because it has negatively impacted all of our families in some way. Seeing families reunited makes me really happy so if I could eliminate COVID, I would immediately!

What’s something from your childhood that you still love today?
I was given a monkey stuffed animal as an infant, and I still love him to this day! I am also bringing him to Smith along with some other stuffed animals.

What's one recent thing or experience that exceeded your expectations?
Climbing two 14,000-foot mountains in Colorado and seeing the beauty from the top exceeded my expectations because I learned a lot about hard work paying off, determination and how important it is to go outside of my comfort zone.

If you could go back in time 10,000 years ago and make a cave painting to confuse everyone in the future, what would you draw?
I would love to draw an iPhone to show the technological advancements and how far we have come!

What’s a cause or purpose you deeply believe in?
I strongly believe in treating all people fairly, regardless of their experiences or background. I love getting to know people from all walks of life, and learning about their cultures and perspectives.
