Neilson Library Opening at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 9

Due to inclement weather, Neilson Library will open at 1 p.m. on 2/9. Hillyer and Josten Library hours remain unaffected.

Biography

Bosiljka Glumac has been enjoying teaching and conducting research with students at Smith College since 1997. As a professor in the Department of Geosciences, Glumac teaches courses in sedimentary geology, carbonate sedimentology, and historical and archaeological geology. Her main research interests are in sedimentology, stratigraphy, geochemistry and archaeological geology of carbonate deposits. Her numerous research projects range from investigating Cambrian strata of the U.S. Appalachians, to the Mesozoic and Cenozoic of Croatia and the Quaternary of the Bahamas. She has also worked along the Gulf Coast of Texas, in the Dominican Republic and on the Micronesian islands of Palau and Yap.
