It’s no small feat, and only a handful of Smith faculty members reach the landmark each year, but 11 more were recently presented with the Charis Medal.
The award is given annually to Smith faculty who have served the college for 25 years in recognition of academic excellence, loyalty and commitment to teaching and students.
Three faculty members were presented with the 2011 Charis Medal during the final faculty meeting on May 12.
They are: David Bickar, professor of chemistry; Gillian Kendall, associate professor of English language and literature; and Catherine Woronzoff-Dashkoff, senior lecturer in Russian.
