Technology is an integral part of the way we work and live. The ITS technology training program is designed to help all members of the Smith community learn to use Smith's technology tools effectively and efficiently.


Announcing Free Online Courses for Smith Students, Faculty & Staff

Smith's campus-wide license from Lynda.com gives all members of the Smith community access to the Lynda library of over 1,500 online technology courses. Courses cover all learning levels for a wide array of software, including 3D, audio, business, design, development, photography, video, and web applications. 

Don't miss this opportunity to learn a new skill or stay up-to-date with software you already know. To start learning what you want, when you want:

  1. Log on to the new Smith Portal (http://portal.smith.edu)
     
  2. On the General Info tab, click the Lynda.com link.

Once your Smith Lynda.com account has been created, you can access all Lynda.com courses from any iPhone, iPad, Tablet, and Android device. Courses accessed via the Linda.com app are specially formatted for viewing on a mobile device. Click herefor full instructions.
