FACULTY AND STAFF PRINTING
Mobility Print: PaperCut Mobility Print is a secure network print service for your iOS, Windows, macOS, Android and Chrome devices.
Installing Xerox MFDs and HP Printers for Direct Printing: Follow the instructions here to install dedicated print queues to specific Xerox MFDs and HP Printers. This allows you to send and release a print job directly to that device from a Smith owned computer.
Installing and using the FollowMe queue (Secure Release Printing) – The FollowMe queue is a new feature where a print job is held in a queue until the sender logs in at any MFD and releases the job to the device. It is especially useful when printing documents with sensitive or confidential information so they only print when you are at the device. Because it works with all of the new MFDs it is also useful if you need to print to a device that you have not configured for direct printing on your computer.
Authenticating on a Xerox MFD – Users need to authenticate (i.e. login) to the Xerox MFD via one of these methods in order to release print jobs or to access features on the Xerox such as copy, fax or scan to email.
Work Study/Temp Employee Access to Xerox MFD - These users need to authenticate to the Xerox MFD with a department 88 number if they need to print, copy or scan office material.
Email to Print: Faculty and staff can now email document(s) as attachments to a PaperCut email to print address.
Printer Maintenance: Faculty and staff instructions on to request toner or service through Connecticut Business Systems (CBS)
