Getting a new Smith computer? Steps you need to take

Mac users: Apple is offering an optional free upgrade to OS X 10.9, also known as Mavericks. If your college-owned Mac is currently running any operating system below OS X 10.8.5, please do not install Mavericks at this time. If you decide to upgrade your personal Mac, be sure to back up your system before proceeding.

To access BannerWeb, log in to the Smith Portal with your network username and password, then click the appropriate tab:
When the tab opens, click any task of interest (Registration, Class Lists, Timesheet Entry, Leave Report Entry, etc.) to go directly to that task in BannerWeb.
|Over 3000 free Lynda.com online courses are available to all Smith students, faculty, and staff. To browse the available courses, log on to the Smith Portal and click the Lynda.com link on the Portal home page. If you have an Apple mobile device, try out the new Lynda.com app.|
