Take
a Warm Break at the All-Employee Winter Party
All
Smith employees are invited to a Winter Party with a tropical
theme, hosted by Faculty Council and Staff Council, on Saturday,
Feb. 6, from 7 to 11 p.m. in Scott and Ainsworth gyms.
 The
winter fiesta will include a full buffet dinner with tropical
dishes provided by Myers Catering, live music performed by
Smith employees The Merchant Bankers (Michael Thurston, Kevin
Rozario, Anna Walton, Fred Cooksey) and the Al Mosley/Kevin
Massey Duo, and a deejay spinning your faves.
Scott Gym will be the place
for food and conversation with soft music. Ainsworth Gym
will be the place for dancing to louder music with a WOZQ
deejay.
Tickets ($15 for faculty
members, $10 for staff members*) are available by downloading
a registration form on the . Tickets will also be on sale outside
the Campus Center Café on January 28, 29 and February
1 from noon to 2 p.m.; in Campus Center 206 January 26-29,
9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and in the Alumnae House before and after
the January 27 faculty meeting.
If you have children in grades
K-6, they can party, too. There will be a Kids Night Out
athletics fundraiser at the Indoor Track and Tennis facility
coinciding with the All-Employee Winter Party. You must register
( on the ) and pay in advance
($15 for the first child in each family; $7 for each additional
child in the same family). Proceeds will benefit Smith athletics.
