RESOLVED - Partial Network Outage Update - 7/18, 3:00 p.m. - Network access has been restored in all buildings across campus, including John M Greene Hall and a few affected by this afternoon's power outage.

Partial Network Outage Update - 7/18, 7:26 a.m. - Network access is completely restored in College Hall as well as Ford, Burton, and Garrison Halls. Work continues on John M Greene Hall.

Partial Network Outage Thursday, July 18, 6:18 a.m. - Last evening's power outage in the downtown area of Northampton affected wired and wireless network access. Access has been restored in most places across campus. The following buildings continue to have partial or no network access: College Hall (partial outage), Ford Hall (partial outage), Burton Hall (partial outage), Garrison Hall, and John M Greene Hall. Work to restore access may take until midday or beyond; during this time, people working online in the buildings with partial access may experience drops in their connection. We will post updates here as we learn more.

ITS User Support - User Support is now located in Seelye Hall B8 (basement level). Smith community members should go to the new ITS User Support Center in Seelye Basement (B8) for walk-in support for the following services: OneCards, Smith account assistance, Duo support, computer support and troubleshooting, general technical support, and equipment repair drop-off. (Note that repair pick-up is in Stoddard 203). Hours will remain the same as before. To make an appointment for a technology consultation at the new location, please write ithelp@smith.edu. In addition to visiting us in person in Seelye B8, users are always welcome to submit email and phone support requests by writing ithelp@smith.edu and calling extension x4487 (413-585-4487).
