Meet the Deans

Jane Stangl is the dean of the first-year class (2015 & 2016J)

Erika Laquer, in addition to being the dean of the Ada Comstock Scholars is the dean of the sophomore class (2014 & 2015J) and the junior class A–H (2013 & 2014J).

Margaret Bruzelius, associate dean of the college, is the dean of the the junior class I–Z (2013 & 2014J) and dean of the senior class (2012 & 2013J).

 

Open Hour cancelled for Margaret Bruzelius on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 9:30-10:30AM.

The Provost's Office is continuing the competitive pilot program offered last year to support intensive summer language study by Smith students.  The application form and information for funding, under this program, for summer 2012 is now available.  It is due in the Class Deans Office no later than Friday March 16, 2012. 

Alumnae Scholarship: Seniors and Alumnae beginning their first year of graduate study are eligible to apply for an Alumnae Scholarship. Student’s who receive an award are expected to pursue full-time graduate study. Completed applications are due March 15, 2012 and are available online at: http://www.smith.edu/classdeans/funding.php.
