Film Wins Noho Film Fest
In addition to the film Freeheld, by
award-winning filmmaker , the films of two
other Smith students and one alumna were featured
recently in the Northampton Independent Film Festival, which
took place last weekend in several Smith and downtown venues:
A film, Neshomeleh, by
Dawna Sirard AC’09 won first place in the category of Best Student Film.
Elizabeth
Lyons ’08 entered her film Figure From
the Past in the festival.
And a film titled Object Lesson by
Julie Casper Roth ’07 was screened as part of the
festival.
