LISTINGS

Summer Sublet, May 25- September 5. Fully furnished studio apartment for rent on 16th street. 850/month. 15-30 min walk from Dupont circle, the White house and the entire downtown area, with a bedroom/living room, kitchen and bathroom. The apartment complex features a swimming pool, a gym on the 12th floor, washers/dryers on the 1st floor, an in-house grocery store, a hair salon and an entire business center in the lobby area. The closest metro stop is Columbia Heights (green and yellow line). A free shuttle also picks up from the front door every 30 minutes and takes residents to the Red line metro (Van NESS-UDC stop). Rent per month is $850 ($2550 for the three months), due in its entirety before the student moves in (owner is also flexible with payment arrangements). Ideal for a student on PRAXIS seeking to minimize her rent costs while still enjoying a great location in Washington DC. Owner is looking for a conscientious and mature student who will be able to take good care of her house while she is away for the summer. Apartment comes with a library with books on African studies and political science. So this would be ideal for the Government or Anthropology major, with an African studies minor. Preferred if the student can arrive by the end of May so the owner can give her a tour of the place before taking off for the summer. If interested, please contact Arame at arametall@gmail.com.
