Oscar-winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy (Smith ’02), who has produced more than 17 films in a dozen countries, came to the Women in Public Service Institute on June 3 to share her experiences and screen her films Saving Face and Humaira: The Dream Catcher. She advised the delegates: “You don’t have to be a filmmaker, you just have to be a changemaker.”

Jane Harman (Smith ’66) also visited the campus that day to share her experiences and lessons for women’s leadership. As one of the key figures in launching the WPSP, Harman advised delegates that they must help one another.
