10-10:50 a.m. Welcome & Introduction to GeoWeek Show your love for Geography Awareness Week over coffee and donuts, with story maps and printmaking

1-2 p.m. Short Presentations Hear from Cindy Li ‘18 (Engineering), Rachel Moskowitz ‘18 (ES&P), and Tracy Whelen (GIS Specialist at UMass Amherst, Microwave Remote Sensing Lab) on the various facets of GIS

2-3 p.m. Drone Flying Demo (Weather Permitting) / DIY Spatial Chocolates / Color Old Maps Be a visual observer to a flight mission, make your own chocolates with SAL’s special molds, or color in antique maps

3-4 p.m. OSM Humanitarian Mapping Workshop Contribute to disaster response by identifying infrastructure in satellite imagery for effective relief efforts

4-5 p.m. Geopardy Unleash the Ken Jennings in all of us to conclude the day; snack on treats and your competitors’ tears
