Brendan is a member of the Teaching, Learning, and Research Group. He contributes to a variety of emerging projects in the Libraries, including the KnowledgeLab, an experimental student-driven space for library futures and SmithScape, a campus study spaces and wayfinding app. He works closely with faculty to develop and present research instruction to support academic departments in the humanities, as well as courses in related disciplines, and to provide reference and research support for students and faculty in those fields. He also coordinates collection development for humanities departments, working with faculty to select and acquire new books, journals, and electronic resources to support the curriculum and research needs.
Before coming to Smith, Brendan began his career as a Library Fellow at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C.
