A Record 40 Smith Scholars Named to Fellowships

This year’s impressive list of Smith undergraduates and alumnae named to prestigious fellowships is headlined by a record nine Fulbright Fellows with one final result still pending.

An unprecedented 40 fellowships have been awarded to Smith scholars this year, totaling nearly $1 million.

In addition, 43 students and alumnae were either finalists or alternates for competitive fellowships; and of course, none of these impressive results would be possible without the generous assistance of faculty and administrative mentors. Click here to read the list of fellowship alternates, finalists and mentors.
