The Women’s Global Leadership Celebration honored the impact Smith women have had on the world. In presentations, panel discussions and academic sessions throughout the weekend, notable alumnae, Smith faculty and students shared ideas related to some of the world’s most pressing issues, including women’s health, American politics and the environment. On Saturday evening, President Carol Christ announced a major new fundraising initiative to re-imagine the liberal arts in the 21st century.
