Smith College Investment Club
The Smith College Investment Club (SCIC) was launched in fall 2002 under the sponsorship of WFI. The goals of the club are to give Smith students the opportunity for hands-on experience with investing and to make a positive financial contribution to the Smith community.
SCIC student members are responsible for managing and investing a portfolio of over $150,000. Club members meet on a regular basis to discuss asset allocation, analyze fund performance and decide how to successfully operate a well-diversified portfolio. Dividends are donated to Smith College Financial Aid (75%) and to the Student Government Association (25%) for campus-wide activities.
SCIC sponsors on-campus lectures by financial professionals and off-campus trips to Wall Street and beyond, and is open to all interested students. For more information, contact the club at email@example.com or click here to visit their website.
