INSTALLING IVANTI SECURE ON A MOBILE DEVICE
Download the Ivanti Secure App from the App Store or Google Playstore.
- Accept the license agreement.
- Tap Enable Ivanti secure.
- Tap Connect, use the following settings:
- Name is optional but enter Smith.
- URL: vpn.smith.edu
- Username is optional but entering your username now will save from entering it later.
- Authentication is password.
- Tap Save when complete.
Using the Smith VPN Connection
Open the Ivanti Secure App.
1. Tap the Connect button.
2. A Smith College screen image with a welcome to the Ivanti Secure Access will appear. Your username is already filled in, now enter you Smith network password and tap Sign in.
3. Duo Two-factor authentication is needed for Ivanti Secure. When it prompts for a secondary password, type in either push or phone. You can also use the six digit code provided by the Duo app on your phone.
4. When you are done with your work, always go back and open the Ivanti Secure icon and tap Disconnect.
